A Parent Coordinator (PC) is a court appointed professional who works to decrease conflict between parents in raising their children. A PC is a neutral third party who is ordered by a judge to address specific issues that are getting in the way of parenting without conflict. These issues may be either small, daily hassles or larger issues. The PC works as a tie-breaker in complicated and difficult parenting decisions and will prioritize the wellbeing of the children. PC's help to decrease conflict, increase effective communication between parents, and make parenting decisions that are in line with the visitation/custody order.
